Transforming a forgotten parking lot into nine new family homes behind Nyetimber's historic Inglenook Pub.
DESCRIPTION
Whaleback were appointed to deliver an infill development of 9 family homes in an underutilised car parking area to the rear of the Grade II Listed Inglenook Pub in Nyetimber. Arun District Council were unable to demonstrate a five year housing land supply, which Whaleback had been instrumental in proving on other sites, and so the principle of development on land to the rear of the Inglenook was demonstrated to be acceptable in planning terms. The scheme provides much needed family homes for the local area, and brings an underused piece of land back into beneficial use.
